Requirements:
- Relevant Hospitality qualifications.
- Extensive restaurant industry experience (Essential).
- Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in a high-end restaurant environment and at least 5 years in F&B management (Essential).
- Not negotiable: Minimum of 3 years in the role of a Restaurant General Manager.
- Experience in 4/5 Star restaurants.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Solid understanding of variance and how to work with and correct it.
- Experience with hospitality-related computer software systems (front and back of house).
- Familiar with industry standards and operational procedures.
- Comfortable with financial reporting and monitoring performance against budgets.
- Strong experience with stock control (non-negotiable).
Job Description:
- Achieve or exceed financial targets for the restaurant.
- Comply with all relevant management reporting processes.
- Manage all financial procedures of the restaurant.
- Ensure proper stock management to meet required standards.
- Control and manage food costs, ensuring stipulated cost of sales targets are met.
- Oversee operations and ensure top-quality customer care.
- Implement and maintain operational standards as required by the Owner.
- Follow all relevant checklists and evaluations set out by Owners.
- Ensure excellent customer service at all times.
- Manage the recruitment process for all vacancies.
- Ensure adherence to the company’s disciplinary code and procedures.
Package on Offer:
- Salary: R40k - R45k + performance-based incentives
