Job Details

We are looking for a highly skilled Automotive Painter (Refinish Technician) with at least 5 years of experience to join our team in Australia. The role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a professional and dynamic environment.

Salary:

• Minimum AUD 73,150 / PHP 2.7M per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform refinish operations in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company quality standards.
• Inspect panels before refinish to ensure parts are properly supplied and repaired.
• Use wax and grease remover to check for chips, primer edges, and scratches.
• Ensure accurate color matching using natural daylight.
• Conduct quality checks on panels for defects, ensuring proper primer and refinish application.
• Complete refinish operations and ensure job sheets are signed off correctly.
• Mix and match paint to ensure consistency with the existing shade.
• Apply spray coats, sand, and block surfaces during refinishing.
• Prepare and mask vehicles for painting, ensuring non-painted areas are protected.
• Drive vehicles into and out of spray booths and ensure vehicle preparation for the booth cycle.
• Buff and polish completed paintwork to a high standard.
• Complete all required prime-ups and ensure the work area is organized at the end of each day.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Painter or Refinish Technician.
• Strong understanding of paint mixing, spraying, and finishing techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet daily production targets.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Completed 4 years of high school and 1-year full-time study in college, or be able to pass the IELTS/PTE exam.
• Good English communication skills.
